I’m Catherine, the maker and creative director behind Cornelia Lane, where I turn the things that matter to you into pieces you’ll love & keep.

Every piece is created around a story and a feeling, where a piece isn’t just beautiful, it means something. Every commission starts with your details: your wedding, your home, your family’s history, the things that make your life yours. From there, we figure out what to keep, what to simplify, and how to translate it into something embroidered that feels timeless and like you.

I’ve spent 10 years learning what makes a piece last, not just visually but emotionally. A napkin from your rehearsal dinner. A monogram on something you’ll use for decades. A house portrait that captures the place you built a life in. Each one is different because each person is different, and that’s exactly the point.

I work with a small group of trusted hands to bring the larger pieces & projects to life, but every concept, every detail, every decision about what a piece should become starts and ends with me. My goal is always the same: make something that feels like you, and something that will always remind you of that special moment.
